Press Release: Commissum awarded a place on Crown Commercial Service "Cyber Security Services 3" agreement

Commissum is delighted to announce that it has successfully been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service "Cyber Security Services 3" (CS3) agreement, meaning buyers can access Commissum's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Assured Services through a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).

Public sector users of the agreement can select Commissum IT Health Checks, CHECK Penetration Testing services and other assurance services, knowing that the services have been certified by the NCSC. This will provide Commissum access to the whole of the UK public sector market. The agreement will be available to central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies, including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education and devolved administrations.

Replacing the multiyear Cyber Security Services 2, CSS3 gives buyers fast, simplified access to all NCSC Assured Services.

Commissum has been a member of the NCSC CHECK Scheme and an NCSC Assured Service Provider since November 2018 and has seen significant growth in its public sector business, becoming a key service provider to many Central Government agencies and departments as well as suppliers to Government and the MOD who require CHECK services.

Frank Green, Chief Sales Officer, had the following words to offer:

“This agreement is testament to strong engagement and collaboration with suppliers and buyers from both CCS and NCSC. It is expected to simplify the selection and purchasing workflow for buyers of NCSC Assured services and allow Commissum’s current clients and prospective clients a clear and swift route to market for our services."

Commissum has built a strong reputation within Government in a short time because of the high quality of services delivered in a flexible and pragmatic way and this agreement helps those organisations, who are required to transact through a CCS agreement, to access our services where they may not have been able to in the past. More choice can only mean better value for the taxpayer and innovation in service delivery which should allow the most agile and forward thinking players, like Commissum, to gain a competitive edge.”

Buyers can access Cyber Security Services 3 Framework directly from the Crown Commercial Service site here.
