Mona Yang joins Commissum as Trainee Security Consultant and Project Coordinator, a newly created role spanning both operations management and consultancy delivery. Mona will assist Commissum in more efficient project delivery for the benefit of clients and increase capacity within the consultancy delivery team.

Mona recently graduated from Newcastle University with a BSc Honours in Mathematics and Economics. Her academic study brings problem-solving skills and a strong ability to work with numerical data. Both highly valued talents within cyber security.  Mona said the economic analysis and financial information and statistics parts of her study have also helped her to develop business acumen. Commissum is anticipating Mona being a success and she had this to say: “Starting a career in cybersecurity is a very exciting opportunity, and I’m looking forward to learning new skills as well as applying skills I’ve acquired through my education.” Mona is eager to work in the industry and help Commissum grow. “I hope to gain a wide range of experience in both IT security consultancy and project management”, she said.
